My hobbies and interests have changed a lot over the last few years. Most recently, I've been focusing a lot of my attention on losing weight and having a healthier lifestyle. Because of this, I spend a lot of my free time at the gym. I decided to start this journey on March 8th, 2013 and since then I have lost 60 pounds. I have about 20 more pounds to lose, but with the support of my family, friends, and coworkers, I know I'll be able to make it to my goal. It also helps to have a personal trainer that doesn't let you make excuses! Once I get back in shape, I'll probably start playing softball again since that is something I've enjoyed doing for most of my life. I love camping, jet-skiing, going to the beach, and generally just doing outdoor activities.
I love to read and when I'm not reading for school, I can often be found reading all sorts of different books ranging from mysteries to romance books, or possibly rereading all of the Harry Potter books for the millionth time. Another activity I enjoy doing is playing video games. Growing up, my dad worked for Sega, and I spent a lot of time at his office playing new arcade games before they were released to the public. My favorite game is Guitar Hero, but I also enjoy the Lego games for their lighthearted, fun, and challenging levels.
One of my favorite things to do is to try new things. There is something about doing something for the first time that adds a level of excitement and suspense to your life. Next up on my list of things to do - skydiving!
